Pricing Photography Workbook
Ever since I started my photography journey as a young high school wannabe photographer, I always had one question that lingered in the back of my mind... and that was, “How much do I charge a client for a shoot?”
So over the years, I watched a huge amount of YouTube videos that cover this topic, spoke to friends and family, but I just could never get a good enough answer. That irritated me for quite some time.
Over the years I experimented with different methods to work out how much I should charge, but did not get that far... until a few months ago, I developed a pricing method and from that, a formula.
With the new year starting off and everyone releasing their shooting packages, price lists, etc., one thing that bothers me, is how little these photographers charge. In an over-saturated industry, low prices hurt the industry and the photographers themselves a lot!
In some cases, people price their services so low, that they are basically paying the clients to do the shoot and walk out with a loss. You will be surprised how many photographers do that without even realising it.
Knowing this, I decided to compile this Pricing Workbook to help and assist you in realising how much you actually should be charging. Now I want to share my method and formula for pricing with you!
*Please note that I am not in any way in a position to give you any financial advice. All of the content in this workbook is what I do and me explaining why I do what I do.*
